Description

The EasyEcu 3+ controller is designed to control engines with a maximum number of cylinders of 8. As the software develops, support for various triggers and ignition systems will be added. In the initial phase, triggers in the form of gears, e.g. 60-2, 36-1, as well as wasted spark and on distributor ignition systems will be supported. In addition, EasyEcu 3+ has a built-in controller for the Bosch LSU4.9 wideband lambda probe and a 3-bar MAP sensor.

The hardware capabilities (inputs/outputs) of the EasyEcu 3+ controller are as follows:

Outputs:
2 high-ohm injector outputs (in one or two banks)
4 ignition outputs (passive coils)Note 1
6 ignition outputs logic level 5V (active coils)
1 slow speed valve (solenoid type)
1 slow speed valve (stepper motor)Note 2
1 fuel pump relay
1 open-collector auxiliary output with 3A capacity
1 tachometer output 12V
Inputs:
1 shaft position input (VR or HALL)
1 shaft position input or shaft reference (VR or HALL)
1 shaft position input dedicated for ignition systems with ignition distributor (HALL)
1 vehicle speed sensor input
1 engine temperature sensor input
1 intake air temperature sensor input
1 input of throttle position sensor
1 input of narrowband lambda probe
1 input of exhaust gas temperature measurement
2 function inputs (e.g. start procedure switch)
2 analog 0-5V inputs
1 input of additional temperature measurement
2 knock sensor inputs
Note 1 and 2 It is possible to expand the ignition outputs for passive coils by additional 4 channels. Additional ignition outputs are placed on the outputs of the stepper motor control of the free speed valve. In such an option, only the control of the solenoid free-running valve remains available. In return, we get 8 ignition channels supporting passive coils. Select the appropriate option when placing your order (Hardware options).
