Description
Short shifter made of steel, protected against corrosion by galvanizing, new plastic bushing , self-lubricated bronze bushing in the place of mounting the gearbox guide,
Short shifter with adjustable stroke, at the maximum screwed in (longest stroke) we get an effect comparable to the popular Z3 shifter. For installation we do not need any other parts, nothing needs to be drilled or reworked – we pull out the selector, remove the original lever and the worn plastic bushing and replace with a new bushing and shifter. The gearshift knob is made of plastic – in summer it does not heat up, in winter it does not get cold in the hand. The length is the same as the original lever, thread M12x1.75, there is the possibility of unscrewing the knob and replace it with another, preferred. The photos show how the whole set looks, mounted to the selector and a comparison with the original BMW lever.
